Once a quarter, on a Thursday morning, we hold a Friends of the Garden morning tea in the relaxing surrounds of the Harvest Garden glasshouse where we discuss upcoming events in the Garden; share advice, ideas and inspiration; receive expert advice from qualified horticulturalists; plan next year’s garden and solve the many gardening problems we encounter in the Harvest Garden.
Our scrumptious afternoon tea menu faithfully follows the traditional combination of sweet and savoury with a selection of delicious sandwiches, Devonshire teas, hand-made pastries made with fruits from the Harvest Garden and washed down with lashings of rich Oolong and Assam teas. Brewed coffee is also available for those us who were weeding garden beds at 6 in the morning.
